Course Description: Introduction to ethnographic studies of North Africa, with focus on Morocco. This course examines representations of peoples and places in these communities through the lens of anthropology. Topics include Social Customs and Rituals, Sufism and Spirituality, Medicine and Magic, and Youth and Social Movements.
