Course Description: Interpersonal violence in the deep human past includes evidence of murder, homicide and cannibalism going back to our earliest origins a million years ago before we could be classified as fully modern humans and continuing until the present day. This record is of great relevance to our understanding of human nature today and needs to be known as we watch the spectacles of war, murder and violence in our everyday lives.
